We Are Expanding Our Data Aggregation Team, And Looking For An Individual With Experience In Mapping Listing Data. This Data Is Used To Drive Broker And Agent Web Sites. It Is Also Exported To Third Party Clients For Use With Their Applications.

Job Description

Translate, Normalize and Map Raw Real Estate Listing Data into the Data Aggregation Database Using Pervasive Map Designer (A.K.A. Data Junction)

Write and Maintain Internal Command Line Scripts, Which Move the Data through the File System

Write Scripts to Automatically Manipulate the Data into Its Final Format and Location

Perform Quality Reviews on the Mapping of Other Employees (Employees Cross Check Each Other’s Work)

Perform Maintenance on Data Issues Caused by Schema Changes

Review and Resolve Customer Complaints Relating To Listing Data

Necessary Qualifications and Skills

Real Estate / Multiple Listing Service Knowledge

Experience Mapping Real Estate Data

Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent

Minimum 2 Years of Programming Experience

The Ability to Make Decisions Prioritize Tasks to Meet Required Deadlines

Good Communication Skills both Verbal and Written

Able To Work with Minimum Supervision

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Experience Working With SQL Databases

Programming Languages: VB Script, XML, Command Line DOS

Experience With RETS

Experience Interfacing with Customers and Vendors

Experience Using Pervasive/ Data Junction or an Equivalent Mapping Tool

An In Depth Knowledge of both Hardware and Software
